In the Kitchen, Planning

>Turkey Thoughts

>I love the holidays.

I love the holiday for many, many reasons. Food is one of the big ones. I love food in general, but I really love holiday food. It’s richer, more decadent. Holiday meals bring people together- even people who don’t usually sit down at the dinner tables. They are meals meant to be savored and lingered over. They are my favorite kind of meal.

This year, we’ll be spending Thanksgiving at home. There will probably be a couple of guests. It will be informal and fun. But I’m still planning. Because I enjoy leafing through all my cookbooks and making notes and comparing dishes. This year I’m hoping to try some new things and have plenty of leftovers for the freezer.

Any plans for your holiday meals?
