>Paleo Menu Week 1

>If you read my post Kitchen Chaos a month ago, you know that we’ve had some pretty radical changes kitchen-wise. We’re following a mostly Paleo diet.We’re making a couple of exceptions for favorite foods since this diet is more a guideline.

It seems to be working. ArmyMan’s stomach is feeling better. He’s having fewer instances of severe pain and the dull pain is less frequent. So, we’ll probably keep it up no matter what the Docs decide. We took it pretty easy and just did the best we could over the holidays. This week is our transition week to get organized after all the traveling. Beginning on Monday, we will do 30 days of strict Paleo. Then, we’ll reevaluate.

Monday
Pea Soup (this isn’t really paleo, but it’s one of ArmyMan’s favorites and he’s been craving it)

Tuesday
Ground Turkey and Moorocan Carrot Salad

Wednesday
Flank Steak Fajitas (sans tortillas)

Thursday
Roasted Chicken Salad

Friday
left overs

Saturday
Crockpot Eye of Round Roast with carrots, sweet potatoes, and parsnips

Sunday
Pork and Brussels Sprouts Stirfry

I’m going to be working on typing up the recipes so I have a small index of Paleo friendly recipes.
