I realized this morning that I forgot to post the weekly menu yesterday.
My major project this week is going through all of my clothes and the Monkey’s clothes in order to donate/consign/get rid of things that don’t fit or aren’t worn. This is one of those things that’s on my “imminent PCS” checklist. Yesterday, I took everything I wasn’t keeping out of my closet.
And piled it on bedroom floor. Helpful, I know.
But today, I buckled down and sorted the massive pile into Goodwill and consign piles. I’m going to miss some of these clothes. Well, not the clothes but the things I bought them for or wore them too. But that’s no reason to keep them. I need to “lighten”. Part of the reason I spend SO MUCH TIME cleaning is because we have way more things than we need or use. They just take up space.
Part of my “touchstone” of living with more intention is to clear my space (and my head) of the things that are just taking up space, I only want to keep the things that contribute positively to my day/life.
In that vein, what do you do with baby things like boppy pillows, bouncy seats and the like?
ArmyMan and I have every intention of having another child. I’m definitely keeping the very nice pack and play that was given to us. Opinions? Thoughts? Ideas?
