>Breakfast is a tough one for me. I tend to nibble all morning, no matter how large the serving is. So I’ve started having smoothies for breakfast. Of course, because I’m difficult, I can’t do any kind of protein powder. The taste/texture absolutely repulses me. I LOVE this one though. I adapted it to be grain free from a smoothie in Oxygen magazine, one of my go to resources. I have to make a little extra because Monkey loves it too!
Orange Banana Smoothie
I large orange, peeled
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (I use vanilla often)
1 frozen banana, peeled
2 tbsp Greek Yogurt
1 tbsp Organic Maple Syrup
Blend all ingredients and drink up!
